Issues

Tracking bugs, feature requests, and tasks

Issues

Issues represent unit of work in Duster. Whether it's a bug report from a customer, a feature request from Slack, or a planned task, it lives as an Issue.

Overview

Issues are the central entity for tracking progress. They are where feedback turns into action.

  • Unified Tracker: Consolidate reports from Slack, Discord, and manual entry into one list.
  • Actionable: Every ID is trackable, assignable, and has a status.

Creating Issues

1. Via Agents (Automated)

The most powerful way to use Duster. When an Agent identifies a bug in a Slack conversation, it can automatically create an Issue for you, populating the title, description, and priority based on the chat context.

2. Manual Creation

You can always manually create issues from the Duster dashboard or directly within your project management tool.

Linear Integration

Duster is built to work seamlessly with Linear.

  • Native Feel: Issues in Duster mirror your Linear issues.
  • Two-Way Sync:
    • Create a ticket in Duster -> Appears in Linear.
    • Update status in Linear -> Updates in Duster.
    • Comment in one -> Appears in the other.

This allows your Engineering team to stay in Linear while your Product/Support teams use Duster, with everyone seeing the same reality.
