Welcome to Duster. You are now one step away from turning your noisy feedback channels into a structured, actionable backlog.

The Concept

Duster is not just another inbox. It is an AI-powered filter.

  1. Sources: Signals flow in from Slack, Discord, or Email.
  2. The Filter: The Boring Engine cleans, validates, and deduplicates.
  3. The Destination: Clean, actionable issues land in Linear.

Quick Start Guide

1. Connect your Integrations

Go to the Settings page and connect your primary sources (where users talk to you) and your destination (where you work).

  • Source: Slack or Discord.
  • Destination: Linear.

2. Define your SOPs

Every channel in Duster has a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). This instructs the AI on how to handle messages in that specific channel.

  • Example: "This is a #bugs channel. Only accept reports with reproduction steps. Ignore feature requests."

3. Invite Duster

Go to your Slack channel and type /invite @Duster. The AI will immediately start monitoring new threads against your SOP.

4. Watch it work

When a user posts a valid bug report, Duster will automatically:

  1. Verify constraints.
  2. Search for duplicates.
  3. File it in Linear.
  4. Reply to the user.

All without you lifting a finger.
